Extended well testing boosts prospects for development of marginal fields. When wells require long-term solutions, such as extended well testing or early production facilities, Bibstar is able to deliver tailored reservoir and production requirements for such wells or fields. An EWT is used to generate and accelerate cash-flow from production before bringing a permanent production facility on line, these projects are often associated with remote environments or challenging operating conditions. Extended well testing provides substantial reservoir information which can be used to:

• Evaluate reservoir in real time
• Assess the commerciality and productivity of a field
• Determine the field development plan

EPF’s provide operators with the ability to expedite the monetization process for first oil or gas on new or marginal field developments. 

EPF on marginal fields provides a life of field solution or enables quick monetization of an asset ahead of the permanent production plant being considered. It also allows operators the opportunity to collect real-time production data, enabling them to appraise reservoir performance.  This appraisal period can be achieved through either an Extended Well Test (EWT) or a longer term EPF, resulting in optimal design of the final permanent facilities. Bibstar’s systems are modular, easy and quick to deploy with installed capacity of 20,0000 bbls/day or 40 mmscf/day gas*, higher throughput. Additional trains can be added to achieve higher throughput aligned with field development plans. Bibstar adds further value by offering EPF on either a lease or sale, operate and maintain basis.
